I SUCK.
I don't know why it happened, honestly. am i just lazy or crazy or is it something someone said? It's been dormant but I'm waking up to doing it again. Booger!

OK... I've been accused of slacking here and yeah I have been. But no one writes and tells me what they like/don't! What I'm saying is it's your fault. Saturday we crossed the 5000 unique hits mark, so I KNOW there are people looking. Colin and The Ren aren't slackin... there's a review with MP3s of the band Elbow on Colin's Crackin' CD O'the Day and The Ren's Song of the Week is from Doves. There's a requested gallery of Angelina Jolie images up in the Babes section and personal pictures of last Friday night's fun linked from Pictures.

I've taken a little time off from the site just because I didn't want to get too burned out on the idea too quickly. I don't know how people can update every day, it's all-consuming.
I was asked about the ads, and I've decided to make sure I only advertise things I do use or think are worthy. They're mainly on this site because it kind of adds more to look at and as I've explained elsewhere this is a small exercise in marketing a website. As more original content is added the ads will phase out or be much more subtle.
There are a few new things up here now; such as another edition of The Ren's Song of the Week (which is an AWESOME song from Glassjaw) and the addition of Colin's Cracking CD of the Moment. Each update Colin will feature a review of an album from the U. K. along with a few MP3s that you can download and enjoy. His first go around is the debut CD by the megapopular English band the Arctic Monkeys, check out his page HERE and find out if you like them as much as Colin does! Also, look for additions to the Links section as well.
So now there are two incredible music contributors to gemineye1969.com! Enjoy, and by all means, please email us and tell us what you think! More updates to come.

It's been a pretty great first week for my website! I didn't really know what to expect, but as of this writing, there have been over 4200 unique hits. Thanks to everyone for checking it out. I recieved only one email from of all of those visitors, so I'm still not sure if anyone actually likes what I have here. Please take a moment to email me at Dave@gemineye1969.com and let me know what you like and what you don't about this website.
Here's the rundown for what's new this week:
The Ren has her weekly song up and ready for you to enjoy; it's a cool jam by CKY. The music section has also been updated with an introduction to mash ups, including seven MP3s to add to your collection. Links now includes more sites to investigate and the babes gallery now includes images of Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima, with Angelina Jolie images coming your way soon. And of course, you can always catch up with my blogs and musings from the About page. Why not join myspace if you haven't already? It's the best site on the net for keeping in contact with friends right now. 30 million people a day can't be wrong!

Thanks for visiting my website! This is the third incarnation of gemineye1969.com and the first to feature actual content. Here you will find galleries of my personal photos, MP3's, music reviews, links to other interesting websites, and downloads of cool movies for you to check out (while they last).
Some of the multimedia you can find here include: a rare Star Wars cartoon from 1978 featuring the actual actors' voicework; a short overview of overlooked Canadian band 'The Pursuit of Happiness' including downloadable MP3s; links to pictures that I've taken with friends and family since 2002; and more great music to enjoy from staff writer The Ren!
I hope that you will return to this site from time to time so you can watch it grow and evolve. I intend on updating this site often with more and more cool stuff, and I really want to hear your input! Anyone that emails me at Dave@gemineye1969.com will get an immediate return email. So please be sure to contact me and tell me what you think of my website. I am open for all suggestions to improve this website.

If you've just happened across this site or I asked you to check it out, thanks for coming. My website is under construction once again, and I'm really trying to make it a real website with actual content this time around. Tell me what you think, what should be added, and what should be taken away. Any suggestions?
This website has three main functions: first, to serve as a resume of sorts as I continue to improve my web developing skills; second, to showcase the many pictures that I've taken and have them available for friends and family; and lastly, to put rare, interesting or useful stuff for people to download and enjoy for themselves.
